Both businesses and accountants can sign up to the 30-day free trial business on Surf Accounts, a cloud-based accounting solution, to get a comprehensive understanding of the software. If you are an accountant looking to set up your first business on Surf Accounts
Go to the Accountants page and click the ‘Sign up as an accountant’ option.
Fill up the ‘My Details’ form and get an email verification link. Sign in by clicking the link.
Upon login you will be directed to the Business Page, where you will have to click on the ‘Add Trial’ option.
After adding a trial business, fill in the Business Setup details with the Business Name, Type of Business, State of Business, GST status. Here you can also invite a user by simply filling in the name and email address of the user you want to add. The user must have an account with Surf Accounts to continue.
Click Next to finish the process of setting up your trial business.
Things to Remember
All the transactions registered in the trial business expire after 30 days of use. In order to retain the records, you will have to upgrade to a business plan. If you are unsure about upgrading to a business plan yet, you can start by setting up a demonstration business.
In case you wish to send out emails, for example invoice reminder, during your trial period, you would want the mail to bear the logo of your company. To upload your business logo, click the ‘Settings’ option on the business page that appears after you log in. The ‘Advisor Setting’ page will appear. Here you can complete the task by clicking the ‘Upload logo’ option.
In order to upgrade to a business plan, you will have to click on the ‘Add a Business’ option on the business page, fill out the ‘Business Setup’ form, click on to ‘Next’ to buy the most appropriate plan and complete the payment.
A business plan provides you better flexibility in terms of the number of businesses and the number of users you wish to add complete with access control.
