Our team at Surf Accounts India successfully participated in the 44th instalment of the Conference of the Eastern India Regional Council (EIRC) in association with The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), held at the Biswa Bangla Convention Centre, Kolkata.

Surf Accounts Event

In this two-day event held on the 20th and 21st of December 2019, we got the opportunity to present our cloud-based accounting software to accounting professionals across various fields. Our product mostly gained a positive reception in addition to some invaluable feedback from our visitors, which are aligned to our ongoing endeavours as far as the implementation of new features are concerned.

Factors such as GST-compliance, data security in cloud, automation and GST reporting among others, formed the general trend of our visitors’ enquiry. In fact, our ‘Reports’ feature struck a chord with our audience owing to its extensiveness and usability.

We demonstrated, to our audience’s satisfaction, the automation of 90% of bookkeeping which one can achieve with Surf Accounts. The highlights included

Our interaction with chartered accountants opened gates to discussions on upcoming implementations and additions to our product, as much as it encouraged dialogue on data storage in cloud, its advantages and security features, and most importantly, what sets us apart.

Surf Accounts is cloud-based, which means 24×7 access and complete control over client data, transparency, infrequent downtime, non-existent infrastructural or maintenance cost and flexibility of operations. To render superior security to our user data, we host our software on Microsoft Azure.

The event provided us the chance to gauge our audience’s reaction regarding software usability and its purpose to alleviate the complications of accounting. Our initiatives in achieving this end vis-a-vis automation, a user-friendly interface, the elimination of data entry and the inclusion of added features – such as end-built CRM, sales pipeline, data mining, time-tracking for billable tasks – were met with a positive response. Similarly, we had the opportunity to meet veterans in the field and document their take on the features we are to incorporate to make the software handier.

We express our heartfelt gratitude to all our patrons, prospects and esteemed practitioners in the field who took the time to visit our stall and share their valuable opinions, without which our engagement wouldn’t have achieved the gravity it did.
